Digitimes Research: AMOLED shifts into spotlight in 2012: The global TFT LCD panel industry has suffered five consecutive quarters of losses. During the five quarters, both Samsung Electronics and LG Display (LGD) made changes to top executives. Furthermore, Samsung and Sharp each announced new strategies trying to change the profitability of the particular business units in February 2012.
