Notebook ODMs to see gross margins improve in 2Q12 on increasing shipments of ultrabooks: Gross margins of Taiwan-base notebook ODMs are expected to rebound in the second quarter of 2012 along with the launch of new ultrabook models by branded vendors including Hewlett-Packard (HP), Acer, Asustek Computer, Lenovo and Toshiba, since the production of ultrabooks yields more profits than traditional notebook models, according to industry sources.
