Mobile telecom carriers tend to support WP8, say Taiwan makers: The support for Microsoft Windows Phone 8 (WP8) by Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel is likely to spread to other mobile telecom carriers due to concerns over the growing dominance of the Android and iOS platforms, according to Taiwan-based smartphone supply chain makers.
