Seoul Semiconductor announces new LED technology

Seoul Semiconductor announces new LED technology: Seoul Semiconductor, a South Korea-based LED manufacturer, unveiled a new LED product called nPola. Seoul Semiconductor holds the patented technology rights to the technology which has been under development for over 10 years. Brightness is improved by five-fold over conventional LEDs based on equivalent die surface area. The company expects further improvements will increase this to more than 10 times existing LEDs.
