Taiwan market: PC shipments down in 2Q12, says IDC: There were a total of 720,117 notebooks and desktops shipped in the Taiwan market in the second quarter of 2012, decreasing 8.7% on quarter and 11% on year, while the corresponding shipment value of US$444.7 million also dropped 0.6% on quarter and 10.2% on year, according to IDC Taiwan.
