CES 2013 Will Feature 20,000 Products: At a press conference in London this week, the organizers of the Consumer Electronics Show made a few predictions concerning the annual show held in Las Vegas each January. Smartphones and tablets will lead the way with a few new tech surprises just to make the trip worthwhile.
Other predicted trends include the use of smartphones and tablets as control-hub devices for more things -- with health and fitness a big beneficiary, cloud services and software becoming an ever more important part of TVs, and technology being used to make safer driving cool.
