China market: Over 49 million smartphones sold in 3Q12, says Analysys: There were 63.73 million handsets sold in the China market during the third quarter of 2012, decreasing 4.1% on quarter and 7.5% on year. However, smartphones accounted for 49.17 million units hiking 28.7% on quarter and 121% on year, according to China-based consulting company Analysys International.
