Touch-enabled mobile devices will drive worldwide cover glass shipments to more than 2.5 billion by 2017, says DisplaySearch: The growth of touch-enabled mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablet PCs, will drive worldwide cover glass shipments to more than 1.5 billion in 2013 and more than 2.5 billion by 2017, according to research firm DisplaySearch. Cover glass shipments increased 44% in 2012, with more than three-quarters of that growth coming from mobile phones.
