We get access to some pretty cool products at Picopros. This is certainly one of those times. The folks at QuickLogic were cool enough to send us a pico projector demonstration unit showcasing their Visual Enhancement Engine (VEE) technology. While this isn't the first time we have seen VEE first-hand (we recently published a review of the PoP Video pico projector), this unit offers higher lumen output. In fact, the device we are showing here generates up to 50 ANSI lumens at WVGA (854x480) resolution using a DLP® chipset with LED illumination.
