Pioneer orders components from Microvision for over $4 million:
MicroVision announced that it has received purchase orders from Pioneer Corporation valued in excess of $4 million. The purchase orders cover key components, including MEMS and electronics, which are part of the HD PicoP engine (Pico Gen2, based on direct green lasers). Pioneer will integrate those components into its Cyber Navi car navigation system. Microvision should also receive license fees and royalties for the technology.
