Top-6 notebook vendors facing growth bottleneck, says Digitimes Research: Notebook brand vendors and their upstream ODM partners, after experiencing a weak April, enjoyed double-digit percentage on-month growth in May shipments; however, the overall volume was still lower than expected. As for June, unlike previous forecasts, the top-six notebook brand vendors have turned conservative about their shipment growth and are expected to only see a single-digit percentage growth for the month, according to Digitimes Research senior analyst Joanne Chien.
