Lenovo, HP January 2013 notebook shipments expected to be higher than Acer, Asustek: Lenovo and Hewlett-Packard (HP) are expected to see better shipment performance than Acer and Asustek Computer in January 2013 mainly because Lenovo will see strong demand in China before the 2013 Lunar New Year and January is the last month of HP's 2012 fiscal year, for which the company is expected to place strong orders to push its quarterly shipments, according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers.
