Lenovo may become second largest Android smartphone vendor, say Taiwan makers: While Samsung Electronics has dominated the global Android smartphone market with a market share of 65% and LG Electronics, HTC, Sony Mobile Communications and Motorola Mobility have global market shares of 7%, 6%, 5% and 4%, respectively, Lenovo is likely to surpass the other vendors through its acquisition of Motorola Mobility, according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers.
