Samsung is reportedly in talks with BlackBerry to buy the Canadian company for up to $7.5 billion, sources familiar with the matter tell Reuters.
Reuters has it that executives from Samsung and BlackBerry met last week to analyze an eventual deal, and are now working with advisers to see how and if the purchase can go through. It’s said that Samsung proposed to offer from $13.35 to $15.49 per share - this represents at least 38% over BlackBerry’s trading price.
