Monocrystal expanding sapphire capacity to target global share of 30%, say Taiwan makers: Russia-based Monocrystal is expanding its monthly sapphire production capacity from 4.0 million 2-inch wafers in equivalent currently to 5.0 million units to target a global market share of 30% at the end of 2015, according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers.
