We've been following advancements related to in-car Head-up Displays (HUD) since our launch last year. Several companies are getting into the act as mobile devices, ubiquitous connectivity, and in-car infotainment merge. One of the best examples of this is the Pioneer AR-HUD demonstrated at CEATEC, most recently.
Until systems like this are embedded in automobile dashboards, however, we will see an increasing opportunity for dash-mounted HUD-type systems. Recently, we highlighted the SmartHUD system, which enables drivers to produce a superior driving experience over using a standard mobile GPS
application.
