Orders for ultrabooks pour in, say Taiwan IC designers: Taiwan-based notebook-related IC designers including Alcor Micro, Anpec Electronics, Elan Microelectronics, Ene Technology, Global Mixed-mode Technology (GMT), Integrated Technology Express (ITE), Realtek Semiconductor, Richtek Technology and Sonix Technology all expect March sales to register 5-15% sequential growth and continue to rise through the second quarter, thanks to a pull-in of orders for ultrabooks.
