Notebook brands competing over touch panel supply: Acer, Lenovo and Asustek Computer have all recently launched touchscreen notebooks with Windows 8, but due to tight supply of touch panels, the brand vendors have reportedly stationed workers at their touch panel suppliers to ensure smooth supply, according to sources from the upstream supply chain
