Asustek expects strong tablet shipments for 2013: Asustek Computer at its global sales meeting (GSM) on December 3, set the annual shipments goals for its three major product lines for 2013 with the notebook shipments expected to reach 24 million units, up slightly from 22.3 million units (include netbook) in 2012, while the tablet shipments will rise significantly from 6.3 million units in 2012 to 12 million units.
