Apple reportedly opening Taiwan R&D center for next-gen iPhone development »:
A new report claims Apple is preparing to open a new Research and Development center in Taiwan, possibly in an effort to work more closely with its Eastern component suppliers and manufacturing partners. Citing multiple anonymous sources, VR-Zone Chinese on Thursday reported that Apple will begin hiring engineers and managers for its new development facility next month. Positions to be filled apparently include Hardware Development Engineers, Panel Process & Optics Engineers, Product Development Engineers, Product Development Engineer, Mechanical Engineers – Product Displays, Materials Technical Program Managers, Test Engineers, Software QA, Reliability Engineers, Engineering Program Managers and more. According to the site, the new R&D center will focus on development of future iPhone models and other new products.
