Xiaomi to buy OLED panels from LG next year?:
While it would appear that Apple is going to stick with LCD screens for the iPhone, at least for the present time, Xiaomi might be making the change to OLED as soon as next year. Out of Korea comes a report that LG and Xiaomi are in talks to hammer out the specifics of a deal which would result in the latter purchasing OLED panels from LG.
LG Display is looking to grab more business outside of the purchase orders it receives from its own parent company, LG Electronics. With the display manufacturer increasing OLED production, a deal with Xiaomi would come at a perfect time. The terms of ...
