The Most Popular Android Phones Among Lifehacker Readers, 2013 Edition:
With new Android phones coming out all the time, we're always curious to see which ones you guys are using. Last week, we asked you, and here are the results.
Surprising, this year's poll had a lot of the same phones as last year's, meaning you guys are getting good use out of your phones before giving them up for newer and better models. The Galaxy S III and Nexus 4 became very popular this year though, with the S III just about tying the Galaxy Nexus for the most popular Android phone around. Some older phones like the EVO 4G, and Nexus S, and Galaxy S II continued to hold spots in the top 10, while a few others (like the Droid X, and Desire) dropped dropped just out of range. The new phones that overtook them were models such as the HTC One X, Galaxy Note II, and Droid Razr Maxx.
As always, there were quite a few people that answered things like "iPhone," "Android Sucks," or "Penis," and it goes without saying that we removed them from the running. Though they wouldn't have made the top 10 anyway. Maybe next year.
