Microvision report Q4 2012 results - $2.7 million in revenues, net loss of $4.1 million:
Microvision announced their financial results for Q4 2012. The company had $2.7 million in revenues in Q4 2012, with a net loss of $4.1 million. For the whole of 2012, Microvision grew the revenues to $8.4 (up from $5.6 million in 2011). The loss in 2012 was $22.7 million (down from $35.8 million in 2011).
Microvision currently has $6.8 million in cash and equivalents and a has a backlog of $1.8 million. Their main objectives for 2013 is to secure design wins and enter into licensing agreements, strengthen the supply chain for key PicoP components and aggressively manage cash used in operations.
