Notebook shipments rise 10% in 3Q13, says firm: According to WitsView, global notebook shipments in the third quarter of 2013 reached 43.4 million units, rising 10.1% on quarter, making the period the only quarter that showed double-digit growth during 2013 so far. Additionally, the global top-nine vendors' shipments grew 6.3% on quarter.
