Samsung to launch new "A-series" smartphones following the Galaxy Alpha?: Samsung online royalty SamMobile reports that the new Samsung Galaxy Alpha is actually the beginning of a new "A-series" of smartphones from the company. The initial launch is supposed to happen this year, starting with three new devices - the SM-A300, SM-A500, and SM-A700.
Reportedly, the first will have a qHD (540x960) display, the second will have a 720p display, and the last one will be a 1080p device. As you probably guessed it, these devices will share continue the Galaxy Alpha's design language, which, at the very least, suggests Samsung is ready to embrace aluminium and other metals ...
