China February mobile phone user base reaches 1.289 billion, says MIIT: There were 1.289 billion subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of February 2015, slipping by 0.08% on month but growing by 4.01% on year, and 485.51 million (37.65%) of them were 3G users and 883.40 million (68.51%) were mobile Internet-access users, according to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
