Worldwide small- to medium-size TFT-LCD panel shipment volume to show steady growth through 2016, says MIC: Although the worldwide tablet market is expected to decline for the first time in 2015, strong growth momentum in the smartphone and automotive panel markets will maintain worldwide small- to medium-size TFT-LCD panel shipments. Panel shipment volume will reach 3.1 billion units in 2015 and 2016, inching up 0.1% and 0.3% respectively on year, according to MIC.
