Compal to establish healthcare business unit in 2016: Following its partnership with Taiwan's Chang Gung University on the development of smart garments and healthcare cloud services, and the establishment of a healthcare R&D center, Compal Electronics is planning to establish a business unit specifically focusing on handling healthcare technology and products in 2016. The business will be led by the company's CTO.
