Taiwan government starts health cloud pilot project through cooperation with Microsoft: Taiwan's Department of Health (DOH) on September 17 announced the beginning of a pilot project of cloud computing applied to health information management through HealthVault, a Microsoft-developed platform for individuals to store and access their health information online. HealthVault offers a portal giving access to personal health records using mobile terminal devices, DOH indicated.
