Notebook vendors to offer fewer models in 2013, say Taiwan component makers: Notebook vendors including Acer, Hewlett-Packard (HP), Dell, Asustek Computer, Toshiba and Samsung Electronics will decrease the number of models they will launch in 2013 by 20% on average, according to Taiwan-based notebook chassis, thermal module and battery pack makers.
