Samsung reportedly plans to sell 100M Galaxy S IV phones, could pull resources away from Apple:
Samsung's (005930) next-generation Galaxy S IV is expected to be its most successful smartphone yet and according to a new report, it might be so big that it pulls resources away from Apple (AAPL). In a note to clients on Thursday, Jefferies & Company analyst Peter Misek wrote that Samsung plans to build 100 million units of its upcoming flagship Android phone. According to the analyst, Samsung's component and manufacturing needs for the Galaxy S IV will be so tremendous that it will pull resources away from Apple's iPhone.
