Another report points to imminent launch of Samsung’s monster 12.2-inch tablet:
Galaxy Note Pro Release Date
For the second time in just a few days, a report out of South Korea claims to confirm that Samsung will launch its largest tablet yet in the coming months. Earlier this week, a purported photo of the upcoming 12.2-inch Samsung tablet was published on a Korean forum along with various specs. The report also claimed that the new slate, possibly called "Galaxy Note Pro" or "Galaxy Note 12," would launch early next year. Now, a new report from ZDNet Korea reiterates those specs, adds a few new ones, and states that the Galaxy Note Pro will launch sometime in the first quarter of 2014. Citing an unnamed industry source, the blog says that the new tablet will feature a 12.2-inch 2,560 x 1,600-pixel LCD display, a 2.4GHz processor, 3GB RAM memory, a 9,500 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. Finally, the site also notes the tablet measures 11.6 inches long by 8 inches tall, and it will be unveiled in a few short weeks during the CES 2014 trade show.
