Digitimes Research: Notebook ODMs to see mixed shipment performance in 2H12: Although global notebook shipments in the second half of 2012 are only estimated to grow 12% compared to the first, several notebooks ODMs are expected to see their shipment growth in the second half be better than the global average – Compal Electronics and Shuttle are both expected to achieve over 25% growth, while Quanta Computer and Pegatron Technology will enjoy 15-18% growth – as some of these ODMs have lower first-half comparison bases, while some are enjoying clients' increasing or shifting orders, according to Digitimes Research senior analyst Joanne Chien.
