Digitimes Research: Taiwan makers to see 2014 touch panel shipments up for smartphones, notebooks, down for tablets: Taiwan-based makers together will ship 242.72 million smartphone touch panels, 51.81 million tablet touch panels and 17.76 million notebook touch panels in 2014, respectively increasing 11.7%, decreasing 29.4% and growing 22.9% on year, according to Digitimes Research.
