Citrix invaded Orlando this week for its annual Citrix Synergy event. Company executives are outlining the vision for the future and unveiling new products and services designed to work toward that future. One new tool shared by Citrix this week is Workspace Cloud.
Citrix Workspace itself isn’t new. The Citrix Workspace Suite offers customers a collection of tools and services that enable employees to access and work with company apps and data securely from PCs and mobile devices. Workspace lets users access apps, data and services over any network and from virtually any device. What sets the new Workspace Cloud platform apart is that Citrix is now offering to take the management and maintenance of the Workspace backend and deliver it from the cloud.
