As LCD monitor market declines, vendors anticpate that bigger is better: With global shipments of LCD monitors expected to drop from 136 million in 2014 to 132 million in 2015 and further to 128 million units in 2017, LCD monitor vendors are aiming to maintain their profits by producing larger-size, high-end units with a higher profit margin, including 27-, 28- and 32-inch units with Ultra HD resolution.
