Ever heard of Leadcore? Neither had we, but apparently, it's a Chinese silicon manufacturer that received an investment from Xiaomi. Reportedly, the latter is about to introduce a whopper of a low-end smartphone that will sell at just $65 (399 CNY). The company will make use of the Leadcore LC1860 chip, which sounds decent - it's built on an A7 architecture, clocked at 2GHz, and paired with the Mali T628 GPU. The chip supports 2K displays, 1080p @60fps video capture, and LTE.
Judging by the published spec-sheet, the $65 phone itself could feature a 720p display and 1GB ...
